As a trusted business associate, Jason has advanced project development and established new lines of services for civil engineering and construction consulting firms throughout his career. He was one of three partners in a civil engineering firm until the 2008 economic downturn that hit the construction industry. Like many in construction and development, Jason found new opportunities that leveraged his value position in construction management and risk analysis. Swiftly propelled to executive status, his business acuity and professional goals were the keys for the 2020 launch of Corwin Consulting. Subsequently, as a new business entity, it's important to acknowledge Jason's extensive project history. The following is a select list of projects* which he has been involved with in one way or another.
*The names of developments below are merely for informational purposes and as a statement of fact simply to identify that Jason was involved with them in some way. There is no relationship, affiliation or endorsement, implied or otherwise, between the developments and J Corwin Consulting, LLC.
Of note: Optima Sonoran Village, Scottsdale, AZ. A nine-acre luxury condominium community with apartments for lease in Scottsdale. In addition to five-and-one-half acres of terraces and courtyards, the development features a 19,000-sq.-ft. fitness center with basketball and racquetball courts, an indoor lap pool, steam rooms, saunas, locker rooms and personal training.

Of note: Jason wrote an abbreviated-form white paper for use by a major lender interested in funding the construction of a Proton Cancer Treatment Center. As this type of project was of such a specialized nature, costs and construction risk data were scarce. Jason completed the research by searching public databases for construction costs, detailing the specialty construction requirements for the up to 12' thick concrete walls, identifying the manufacturers of the specialty cyclotrons and gantry cranes, and even understanding how the cyclotron would be transported to the construction site - as they can weigh over 220 Tons.
Other projects include: Wickenburg Community Hospital and Community Hospital Clinic, Ara/Lyra Assisted Living, Gardens at Ocotillo, Ocotillo Village Health Club, Scottsdale Senior Living, Seven Hills Plaza, Desert Pines, and Wellsprings of Phoenix.
Of note: Jason created an abbreviated-form white paper for use by a major construction lender for the observation wheel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Much like the Proton Cancer Treatment Center project, costs and risk analysis data for observation wheels was scarce as there were only a handful built in the world at that time, and public data was almost nonexistent. Jason created a specific cost guide based on all information available, and provided valuable insights on items such as the engineering and construction companies with experience on existing projects, identifying qualified gondola manufacturers, and the issues of a preexisting project which failed due to engineering deficiencies. As the project started, Jason worked with a team to provide an in-depth report of the contracts, costs, plans and specifications, geotechnical reports, life safety reporting, and various other documents.
Other projects: Proton Cancer Treatment Center, Austin Viie, Paraiso Del Mar - La Paz, Mexico, and work for the Auditor General of the Navajo Nation on the Chinle, Crownpoint, Kayenta and Tuba City Justice Centers.
Of note: Twin Arrow Casino and Resort. A 267,000 SF facility which includes a Vegas-style casino, 200 hotel rooms and suites, gourmet dining, culturally infused casual dining, a fitness center, heated indoor pool and more than 11,000 SF of state-of-the-art meeting space and a conference center.
Other projects: Fire Rock Casino, Northern Edge Navajo Casino, and Marriott Downtown Flagstaff.
Milliken Warehouse, Longley Commerce Center, Surprise Self Storage, FedEx Distribution Center Prescott, Extra Space Storage, Amazon Fulfillment Centers and multiple unnamed warehouses and industrial developments in Arizona and Nevada.
Of note: Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club, Gold Canyon, AZ. Located on 930 acres at the foot of the legendary Superstition Mountains, the project comprises two, Jack Nicklaus designed 18-hole golf courses, hiking trails, 21 village-style neighborhoods, sports club, and a 50,000 square foot club house.
In addition, Jason was involved with the development of: Ancala, Ballantrae Ridge, Desert Highlands, Desert Mountain Private Golf & Country Club, Copper Basin, Troon & Troon North, McCartney Center, Sun Ridge Canyon, Scottsdale Mountain, Harmony Aurora, The Boulders, and Terravita just to name a few.
Jason created specialized risk management analysis standards and reporting methods for photo-voltaic solar installations. This resulted in a portfolio of over 130 solar installations across the United States for multiple lender clients.
